The Tōhoku League is the college football league of the Tōhoku region in northeast Japan. The champion of the Tōhoku League plays in the Pine Bowl against the champion of the Hokkaidō League for the North Japan championship.
For the 2020 season the Tōhoku League changed the format due to the COVID-19 pandemic in order to reduce the number of games.
